This is the 2nd time I've ate there. First time was wonderful. Today I got the pulled pork plate to go and I'm disappointed. The only flavor the pork has in the bbq sauce, no seasoning to the greens, I like the fried green tomatoes but once again wish there was more seasoning on the breading. Maybe this is only a place you can find in for good flavor
Brisket is tender but not flavorful. Potato salad is good. Baked beans has too much molasses. Not better than Chuckwagon
If you are craving for delicious southern food, this is the place to go! The cashier was very friendly and help us to decided since it was our first visit. Food came out quick and everything was delicious. I will say this, it needed a little bit of more seasoning on the proteins to make it perfect. The Mac n cheese was so creamy and delicious, pasta perfectly cooked. I ordered the Chicken and Ribs platter. It was a huge chicken breast and a wing and 3 BBQ ribs. I’m not a fan of bbq sauce but theirs was really good, although I preferred their white sauce. The Chow Chow was so yummy yummy. My husband ordered the Brisket Platter with Collard greens and Mac n cheese. His brisket needed a little bit of more seasoning but it was good. The place is very clean and you could tell they care about the business. The Manager was walking around asking the customers how was everything. We will come back, definitely!
The staff was helpful and friendly, clean restaurant and restrooms. I am thinking this is a fast food BBQ kinda place but idk lol. Never seen one before my family suggested we eat here but it was very good. I got brisket but I wasn't brave enough to try the chow chow. Everyone finished their plates even my picky daughter. She also got a slice of pie and said it was good but it was too big lol.
The baby back ribs were very tough. The sauce was pleasant, though the meat was extremely unsatisfying. The chow-chow and greens were good. The sweet tea was the best part of our meal. Unfortunately, we will visit a bbq joint about 30 minutes away the next time we crave smoked meat. I had high expectations after reading the menu and the online reviews. Now I know why the restaurant only had a few patrons at 5:30 pm on a Friday night. Seriously, Chili’s and Outback ribs are much better. Costco ribs cooked at home in the oven would beat Full Moon any day of the week. I hope this honest review saves someone from the dissatisfaction my family experienced tonight. My parents did not enjoy their ribs and my wife did not even finish her pulled pork sandwich. We ate what we could because we were hungry, though it was subpar bbq.
Service was polite, but the food (with the exception of the half moon cookies) was a bit disappointing. I guess I am used to Cole slaw on my pork sandwich. The chow chow was nothing like that. And the pork had big chunks of fat in it and very little flavor.
Food was great as always, no complaints at all.
However the tables were filthy dirty and greasy.
They bring a slop rag out of the back and do their best to knock table crumbs off onto the floor and think it's clean.
You need to clean these tables, they are gross.
My wife and I had to clean our own before we could even sit down, ALL the tables were like that.
Another thing, when you fill up your ketchup and sauce bottles, Clean them off.

I do not eat here regularly. This may be the 2nd or 3rd time ever. The last two times I have ordered from here (this time and last) the baked potato was undercooked. Very hard and dry. It is dry because they cut it open and throw the butter on it and it all slides down out of the potato. The chicken plate has bbq sauce on it which is a no for me. I tried to call and give a suggestion not asking for any refund or anything and Corey Kennedy was very rude. Spoke over me while I was trying to make my suggestions and then hung up on me (twice). Called Corporate and the lady "acted" like she cared but wasn't too concerned about an inedible meal that money was wasted on either. All she stated was that she would let the owner know.. I will state that the Carrot Cake is good.. But, I will respectfully wait until Gibson's BBQ opens back up from their fire issue before I eat BBQ again while at work..
